Yesterday I was supposedly tidying my room; obviously, this wasn't going to happen, so instead I started coding on something random that wasn't work. Here's the results:

• http://urlx.eu - like tinyurl, but shorter :)
• http://lnurl.eu - adds a captcha, and lets you choose the variable part of the url yourself; eg http://youChoose.lnurl.eu
• The source for those two sites

The source also has the capability to require user authentication against a database; probably only wanted with the option for choosing the short parted enabled.

Also, over the last few days, I've migrated a few of my projects to git; I really like working with it a lot more than SVN (even with SVK, which makes it a lot better), and would recommend anyone to try it :).
