Exams, keyboards etc

Well, I've finally finished my first year exams at university, and generally think they went quite well. There's around one and a half weeks left of term, which will hopefully give me some time to catch up on my long non-curricular todo list.

On another note, I started getting wrist ache when I was typing. I type a /lot/. I've now got a Microsoft Natural Ergonomic 4000 keyboard. As much as I dislike their software, I've got to admit they really know how to make nice keyboards. It's incredibly comfortable, with quiet but responsive keys, and my wristache has completely gone. Also it's actually increased my typespeed score (after around a day of normal use); it's now 705 on the english words set.

Relatedly, Synergy is a great project - it lets you share your keyboard, mouse, and clipboard between networked computers, on Windows, Linux, and OSX. Really very nice not having to reach over to use my laptop (and it lets me use my MS 4000 keyboard on it :) )

Ohh and thanks for the info on synergy, never knew something like this existed, I have been looking to try it out. cheerz
